great points — and the evangelism and sense of “being in a club” of people who understand an app does help to make the app stickier and spread better in the right communities. One of the key insights you point to is how important frequent use is — and with a lot of these features, they make the app much faster and easier to use with daily use, but the first time you might not know how to do something. I consider the “push and hold to take a video” a great example of this.
